Electric Sunshine is NYC based clothing brand founded by App in 2014.

Every single article of clothes that is produced at Electric Sunshine is materialized without the use of large scale machinery & outsourcing. Instead we (May & App, the co-owners & designers) prefer the method of designing & assembling piece by piece, frabic by frabic every single item. Therefore we can proudly & ardently say that each & every single item is an original wearable & functioning art piece. Making each finished product unique & one of a kind. We like to fashion ourselves as a "bakery who bake clothes fresh everyday outta the oven" rather than fashion designers.

A brief introduction to our one of a kind series: Ichigo Ichie & Wabisabi. In Japanese culture there's a word known as "Iroasobi" meaning to play with colors, play color, or color play. We strive to incorporate this philosophy of colors & textures to emphasize  the notion of "Once in a lifetime meeting & imperfection is perfect. Enjoy the feeling nostalgia & new." 

Our products are boundless, meaning that they are not restricted by social constructs of division such as gender, age, class, & religion. We dedicate ourselves to spreading universal love & long lasting clothes without concern for fast moving trends. We aim to challenge the current model of the fashion world. Where it's common place for consumers to hastily consume products that are the byproducts of the same fast paced production process. Which often leads to consumers replacing their commodities without having an emotional attachment or being special.
